Diversity Policy
The Marine Society & Sea Cadets bases its approach to diversity on the principle of inclusion. It actively seeks to widen the diversity of its intake of both adults and young people and thereby contribute to the development of multicultural communities.
The charity recognises diversity within its workforce and values this as a strength of the organisation. It endeavours to meet the different needs and expectations of all.
Within the context of The Marine Society & Sea Cadets, diversity covers race, gender and disability and other factors such as age, marital status, religion, background and work style.
