Exam Entry Registration
Timetable
The exam timetable is set by national awarding bodies and there's no flexibility to when the exam has to be taken. You must sit on the date specified by the exam board.
If you are registered on the following GCSE courses then it's important to note that the final opportunity to sit the exams for these specifications will be summer 2012.
OCR GCSE Science J630 (Twenty First Century) | OCR GCSE Biology A J633 (Twenty First Century)| OCR GCSE Chemistry A J634 (Twenty First Century) | OCR GCSE Physics A J635 (Twenty First Century)
If you are unsure of the specification you're following, please contact us and we can advise you.
Registration Deadline
The final date to inform us of your intention to enter examinations held in November and January has now passed and additional fees will be incurred if you wish to register.
Cost
The cost for entering exams is: I/GCSE £89 / AS Level £99 / A2 Level £99 / A Level £149 if you are currently studying through the Marine Society or if you are serving Royal Navy/Royal Marine or Merchant Navy.
However, if you enrolled for tuition with us and chose the tuition support and exam entry fee package then no further payment is required in respect of exam entry fees at this time.
If you have sat part of an award previously through the Marine Society and wish to sit remaining exams then the fees may be different. Please ask us what the cost is going to be if you are unsure.
Payment will need to be made prior to registration. We'll not enter you for an exam unless we first receive your payment.
Location
The default location for sitting your exam(s) is our office in central London. Any other arrangements that may be made are at our discretion. It may be possible to arrange for you to sit your exam(s) at sea. If you think you may need to do this you'll need to tell us at the time of entering.
We may also be able to arrange for you to sit at a local college. Again you need to request this at the time of registration.
